Your baby, exactly as they are


The newborn stage is beautiful, exhausting and somehow over almost as soon as it begins. Between the sleepy stretches, tiny fingers and the way your baby curls against your chest,

there are countless little details you’re certain you could never forget, but time has a way of softening your memories.


My newborn sessions are relaxed, connection-focused and designed around real life with a new baby. There is no expectation of a perfectly sleeping newborn, a spotless home or older siblings who suddenly become professional models.


I’ll gently guide your family while leaving room for feeding, soothing, changing and simply being together. We’ll document your baby on their own as well as the way they fit into the arms and lives of the people who already love them.

A Relaxed Newborn experience in your own home

In-home newborn photography allows your family to remain in the space where you’re most comfortable. You don’t have to pack an entire diaper bag, time your departure between feedings or remember anything beyond opening the door, I’ll come to you.


We’ll use the areas of your home with the best natural light, usually a bedroom, nursery or living space. Your home doesn’t need to be magazine-ready. We can move anything distracting out of the frame and focus on what matters: your newest little person and the family surrounding them.


When should we schedule newborn photos?


I recommend reaching out during pregnancy whenever possible. We’ll reserve an approximate window around your due date and choose the actual session date after your baby arrives.


Newborn sessions commonly take place within the first two to four weeks, but there is no magical deadline when your baby suddenly becomes “too old.” Older newborns are just as worthy of being documented.


What if my baby won’t sleep?


That’s completely okay! Sleeping babies are beautiful, but so are wide eyes, little yawns, stretches and the expressions they make while discovering the world. We’ll follow your baby’s cues instead of expecting them to follow our plan.


Can siblings and pets participate?


Absolutely. They’re part of your baby’s story too. We’ll include them in ways that feel comfortable and safe, with plenty of flexibility if a toddler, or pet, needs a little extra time.
